Have you ever truly wondered what the difference of a sound and noise is?

Sound is what we hear. Noise is unwanted sound. The difference between sound and noise depends upon the listener and the circumstances. John 10:27 says ” My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

Why were the trumpets sounded in the old testament?

– To call an assembly

– To call for war.

– To give direction

– To signal victory

The walls of Jericho didn’t just fall down by a bunch of people making noise, they came tumbling down when a kingdom sound (Shout) resonated and shook the foundations. Arise to the 7th shout, a perfect shout, a victorious shout, a powerful shout, the shout of the King.

Esther journey from an orphan girl cared for by Mordecai to the queen of Persia shows us that :                                              – When there is no voice ; there is no order

– Governmental people hear the voice of their leader.

– The time to be silent is over.

If we remain silent surely redemption will come from another source. (Esther 4:14)

Can we afford to be silent at such a time as this? When society so desperately needs an authentic sound to come forth and clear out the chaos.
